I started reading it a few days ago. Had I not been interrupted by Lovers in Paris, I would have finished it by now. Argh, I'm just halfway through. It's a good book, though. It gives you different view of what are often considered deviant.

Some of the lines that really caught my attention:

Now though, I am convinced that no one loses anyone, because no one owns anyone. That is the true experience of freedom: having the most important thing in the world without having it.

I've realize that sometimes, you get no second chance and that it's best to accept the gifts the world offers you.

I can chose either to be a victim of the world, or an adventure in seach of treasure. it's all a question of how I view life.

In the search for happiness, however, we are all equal.

In love, no one can harm anyone else. We are each of us responsible for our own feelings and cannot blame someone else for what we feel.

Paulo Coelho did a great job here in making people see things in different light. One brave book from one brave writer, I must say. And I applaud him for that.

My First Sidney Sheldon and I fell in love.

The story never gave a hint that it would be such a heart breaking novel at the beginning at all.I had guessed that the trouble that had began for Jeniffer at the start of the story will be overcomed by her and she would have a beautiful happy ending. Boy was i in for a Shock.
Conclusion : Never take for grated the happy ending for a story and be ready to have you own heart broken in pieces over it.

If Tomorrow Never Comes

This is truly a masterpiece and I found my self really caught by this book. I can't stop myself from reading it, it is really page-turning. It's amazing because thriller and romance were combine together and the outcome is this magnificent book.

The story is insiparational because even though the main character is surrounded by seemingly unending problems in her life, she didn't stop in finding ways to turn things around even though hope seemed far away. And because of how she creatively used her intelligence, she managed to find ways that pulled her out of misery and little by little brings her to a life of comfort and luxury.

It made me realize that even though life can be sometimes tough on you and unfair, you have to hold yourself together and make things the way you wanted them to be.
