You Light Up My Days

Dear Father, You light up my days
in the utmost extraordinary ways
You shower me with beauty
beyond comprehension
and give forth a love that
knows no dimension.



You place kisses out of a soft
warm breeze upon my face
to remind me of Your awesome
tenderness and grace.
I walk with Your love in my
heart and a gleam in my eye
because I know not a moment
passes that You're not close by.



Your arms are forever about
me as You guide me along
Letting me know by Your side
is where I'll always belong.
You keep a spring in my step
and a song in my heart
and my eyes open wide to the
miracles You impart.



For me You gave Your one and
only magnificent Son
How could I ever doubt You
after all You have done?
My trust and confidence I
will always place in You
knowing that come what may
You will always see me through.



I know You will strengthen me
to face the things that lay ahead
I will cast my cares and burdens
upon You as You have said
I will learn from my tribulations
as I grasp tightly to Your hand
Knowing Your strength will carry
me and help me to firmly stand.



My Father, my strength and
my rock is what You are
and from Your love and
guidance I will not wander far
knowing in the end I will receive
the glorious prize
When I can tell You how much
I love You while looking straight
in Your eyes.



Since we're going to believe in
something why not believe God
and the excellency of His power.
